Unclear Which mode makes these jobs stop early is not stated.
What
Several jobs that Claude Code runs on startup or for cleanup now stop straight away when a certain mode is active. These include:
- reading the plugin marketplace cache
- cleaning up old files
Separately, the --branches option has been removed from a list of allowed git options.
Why
The jobs that now stop early all work with files on your computer, so this looks like a mode in which Claude Code avoids local disk work.
