What
A machine that Claude works on can be set to run a session's commands only inside an isolated environment. When that environment is not available, Claude Code reports it back to Claude. The message now calls the environment a Linux VM (a virtual machine running Linux) where it used to say sandbox, and tells Claude to report that the Linux VM on that machine is not available.
Why
When this happens, Claude's explanation to you will now talk about a Linux VM rather than a sandbox.
