When you hit a usage limit, Claude Code can show a menu of options. One of those options used to be a single row that always led to a confirmation. It is now built from a list, so the menu can show one row for each kind on offer. Choosing a row passes that kind along, and the result can now be:
- a direct answer
- a confirmation to accept
- a further choice between options
The menu also ignores key presses while a choice is still being processed, and it reports more detail in its usage data when it is shown and when an extra-usage option is picked.
The offers to reset a limit can now cover more than one kind of grant, so you may see several of them in this menu. Ignoring keys while a choice settles stops a second press from going through by accident.
