What probably matters to youSection of the release
Unclear Which sessions meet the further condition besides the server setting is not known.
What
A background agent is a helper copy of Claude that works on a task while you do other things. If the container Claude Code runs in restarts, such an agent can be left orphaned, with nothing to carry it on. Claude Code can now save a record for each orphaned agent so it can be resumed after the restart.
The notice shown after a container restart can now also say which agents can be resumed.
Both depend on a setting Claude Code reads from the server, plus a further condition in the session.
Why
Work done by a background agent need not be lost when the container restarts, and the notice tells you which agents you can pick up again.
