If the container Claude Code runs in restarts, such an agent can be left orphaned, with nothing to carry it on. Claude Code can now save a record for each orphaned agent so it can be resumed after the restart.\n\nThe notice shown after a container restart can now also say which agents can be resumed.\n\nBoth depend on a setting Claude Code reads from the server, plus a further condition in the session.\n\n**Why**\n\nWork done by a background agent need not be lost when the container restarts, and the notice tells you which agents you can pick up again.\n\n- Flag `tengu_steady_puppy`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.304; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Background Agents\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 4\/5\n- Signal: 4\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
