Unclear What the low resource status reports, and when the checks that switch these on pass, is not known.

What

Claude Code has a new kind of note it can attach to a conversation, called a low resource status. It is behind a feature check, so it only appears when that check passes. Separately, sending a notification can now take information about how it should be presented, such as for a screen reader, behind another check.

Why

The low resource status may be a way to tell Claude when your machine is running short on resources.
