What
Claude Test is a plugin bundled with Claude Code for browser-based testing, started with /claude-test. This release changes it:
/claude-test now checks that its test agents, helper copies of Claude with set jobs, are loaded. If not, it stops with "Claude Test did not start: its test agents are not loaded in this session."
It adds a terminal pane that says test progress will show in a later version, and it needs the interactive CLI rather than claude -p.
In a session with no disk of its own, the browser helper now reports "Claude Test's browser helper can't run in this session: it runs from files on disk, and this session has no disk of its own." The check for its helper files no longer looks for a folder there and reports diskless instead.
When Claude Test cannot start, including in remote sessions without a disk, you now get a message saying why instead of a generic error. The progress pane and new interface calls are groundwork, and the pane itself says progress comes in a later version.

Anthropic's release notes agreeImproved the claude -p invalid-settings warning: a file that did not load lists only what stopped it, and long lists are capped per file
