Background tasks are jobs Claude Code keeps running while you carry on. The detail screen for a background task now also works for these task types:
remote agents
local workflows
Before, it worked only for background shell commands, MCP monitors and MCP tasks. The screen is still available only when the background detail screen is switched on.
