What
Claude Code recognises some names as belonging to secrets, such as passwords and keys, and hides their values. It now also treats a value as a secret when its name matches memory request MAC. Spellings with an underscore, a hyphen or nothing between the words all count, for example memory_request_mac or memory-request-mac.
Why
A credential of this kind now exists, and Claude Code keeps it out of logs.
