What
When a request to the API fails, Claude Code attaches details to the message: what kind of error it was, extra details, and an error code. One place where Claude Code copies messages used to drop those three details. It now keeps each one whenever it is present.
Why
The kind of error should no longer be lost when messages are copied, for example in transcripts or in output for programs that use Claude Code.
