What
When Claude Code runs a task, it writes the task's output to a file and finishes with a closing line. On Windows, another program can hold that file busy (an error called EBUSY). Claude Code now keeps retrying the closing line for a set amount of time instead of trying once more and giving up.
It shows a warning while it waits, and another if the line still could not be written when time runs out.
Why
This avoids losing the line that marks a task as finished on Windows.
