Unclear It is not clear what turns the alternate system prompt layout on.
The system prompt is the set of instructions Claude Code sends to the model at the start of every conversation. The part of Claude Code that assembles it can now build an alternate layout. In that layout:
- a section describing where Claude Code is running is added
- a section about system messages is added
- some sections use different wording
- the paragraph naming the model has a different form
In the setups checked, the prompt Claude Code sends is unchanged, so this layout does not appear to be in use yet.
This looks like preparation for a different version of the instructions for some particular way of running Claude Code.
tengu_silent_harbor Off in both readingsThe flag server returned off for the account this site reads and for the anonymous baseline. A reading of off cannot rule out a rollout these two readings sit outside of.
