What
The transcript is the saved record of a conversation. Sometimes a message being added to it is no longer the newest one, because other messages are being added at the same moment. Claude Code used to put such a message off straight away. It now waits, up to a time limit, for the other additions to finish and then checks again. The result can now also say that the conversation changed during the wait.
Why
This should mean fewer missing or duplicated entries in the transcript when several messages are saved at once.
