What
When Claude needs a browser but the browser extension is not connected, it receives instructions on what to tell you. Your app may also show a card for setting up a browser. Those instructions changed:
Before: one short sentence saying a browser is needed, which you could set up from the card or at https://claude.ai/chrome.
Now: one or two short sentences saying you can set up the Claude desktop app or Claude in Chrome in the card below.
Claude is also told to give no links or other installation steps, and to wait until you reply.
Why
When a browser tool cannot run, you are now pointed to the card in your app instead of a web link.
