What

Some workflow runs hide their script, meaning the steps they will carry out are not shown. Two things change for these runs:

  • If Claude Code cannot read or write its record that the script is hidden, it runs nothing and says so.
  • Each phase of the workflow is shown with a plain numbered title, such as "phase 1", instead of a descriptive one.
Why

When the record cannot be checked, a hidden-script workflow fails safely instead of running, and its phase titles no longer reveal what the script does.
