What

The sandbox is a restricted environment that limits what the shell commands Claude runs can touch. The menu where you pick a sandbox mode has new wording:

  • "Sandbox BashTool" is now "Sandbox commands"
  • "Sandbox BashTool, with regular permissions" is now "Sandbox commands, with regular permissions"
Why

This is text you see in the sandbox settings, so the options may look different from what you remember or from older screenshots and guides.
