An organisation-level setting for plugins is now marked as one that both the desktop app and Claude Code read. It is also marked to use a stand-in value when it cannot be read.

Why

Admin policy for the MCP servers that plugins bring (outside programs that give Claude Code extra tools) is now marked as applying to Claude Code.
