What
A bridge connects a local Claude Code session to a remote one, and each session sends a regular heartbeat (a short "still here" signal). Before this release, every session sent one on every pass. Claude Code now records when each session last sent one and skips sessions that did so recently.
Why
This cuts the number of heartbeat messages sent for remote and bridge sessions.
