What
The Bash tool is how Claude runs shell commands on your machine. It now has a new check on each command:
- When Claude proposes a command that matches it, the command is rejected before it runs, with error code 13.
- When the command is about to run, the same check stops it, unless you typed the command yourself.
Why
Some commands that ran before may now be blocked outright when Claude tries them, while still running when you enter them yourself.
