What

Claude Code now has a check that applies when all of these are true:

  • a tool belongs to a particular server
  • the turn is picking up an interrupted turn after a resume
  • Claude Code cannot ask you for a decision
  • a remotely controlled switch, tengu_velvet_gannet, is on

The switch is off unless it is switched on remotely. The flag server returned off for this site's account and for the anonymous baseline in readings taken before this release.

Why

It prepares different handling for resumed turns where you are not there to answer a prompt.

Feature flag
tengu_velvet_gannet Off in both readings

The flag server returned off for the account this site reads and for the anonymous baseline. A reading of off cannot rule out a rollout these two readings sit outside of.

This account: off · anonymous baseline: off · compiled default in v2.1.299: off

These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.

Read once, for one account on one subscription tier, against v2.1.299. It isn't a statement about your account. What a flag value here can and cannot tell you
