What
Some sessions ask for your approval on a different machine. When such a request goes unanswered or is withdrawn, Claude is now told that the session has stopped waiting for an answer.
No answer: Claude should assume you are away and not try again.
Withdrawn: Claude gets advice that depends on why, such as resend once, wait, or do not resend because a newer request is already asking.
Before, Claude was only told to ask you how to proceed rather than retrying.
Why
This stops Claude from repeatedly sending approval requests nobody is answering.
