Unclear Neither the condition that lifts the restriction nor what the restriction blocks is known, so it is unclear who is affected and what they can now do.

What

Claude Code checks what kind of subscription you signed in with. Signing in here means logging in through your Claude account in the browser instead of using an API key. Before this release, the check always flagged subscriptions that are not Enterprise or Team plans as restricted. Now it skips that flag when a further condition is true.

Why

Some people on subscriptions other than Enterprise or Team may no longer meet a limit they hit before when signed in with their account.
