When a certain setting is on, the instructions for the Projects tool tell Claude to take the version it got when reading a project document and pass it back as if_version when writing the document. Before, the instructions only said to write the full content back.
Why
A version check like this lets a save be refused if the document changed since Claude read it, instead of overwriting someone else's edit.
