When Claude Code fetches messages from its inbox and the service does not serve the read, Claude Code now waits before the next fetch. This covers a failed request, an error reply and a reply it cannot make sense of. Previously the next fetch ran straight away.
Why
Waiting stops Claude Code from hammering the inbox service with rapid retries while it is having trouble.
