What
A diff is a view of what has changed in your files. When Claude Code builds the diff for your workspace, it now keeps track of both the old and the new path of a renamed file. It checks that it is allowed to read both paths and compares the new file against the version at the old path. Deleted files are shown as removed.
Previously only a single path was used for each file.
Why
Diff views used over remote control, where you drive a Claude Code session from another device, should now show renamed and deleted files correctly instead of treating them as unrelated changes.
