What

Claude Code runs a background signed-cache check whose results are only reported in usage data. It no longer waits on an identity lookup and no longer sends a separate identity report afterwards. The main report from the check gains two fields, absence and states_lifetime.

Why

This changes the usage data Claude Code sends about the signed-cache rollout. It does not change what you see.
