A background agent is a helper agent that keeps working while you do other things. Resuming one now goes through a confirm-and-handover step. If the agent's slot is closed, the resume stops with subagent_resume_background_closed. If the handover is not taken, it stops with subagent_resume_background_not_taken.
Why
A resume that cannot be handed over cleanly now stops with a named reason rather than carrying on.
