What
Resuming a session means picking up an earlier conversation from its transcript, the saved record of that conversation. Claude Code's resume diagnostics now include:
resume_transcript_bytes
resume_transcript_kept_bytes
resume_transcript_earlier_metadata_bytes
resume_transcript_boundary
Why
These measure how much of a transcript is read and kept when a session resumes. Nothing changes in what you see.
