What

Claude Code can keep a log of the requests it sends to the API. It now makes a fingerprint of each message on its own and keeps its text, records caching marks only for the messages that carry them, and reuses that stored text when building the fingerprint for the whole request. Before, it processed the whole list of messages at once.

Why

This is probably a speed improvement for this request logging.
