What
When you interrupt Claude Code, it now records how many prompts were waiting in the queue at that moment. It records this in its usage telemetry, the anonymous measurements it sends about how the product is used. The count is split by where each prompt came from:
a person
a handback from a subagent, a helper agent working on part of a task
another subagent
peers outside the session
It also records whether a send-now or a cancel-queued action was involved.
Why
This does not change what you see. It means queue behaviour at interrupt time is now being measured.
