What

A plugin is an add-on package that extends Claude Code, and it can be installed for you as a user or for a particular project folder. When Claude Code has to pick a fallback entry for a plugin, it now searches a different list for the user-level entry and also accepts an entry whose project path matches the folder you are working in.

Why

How plugins appear in the plugin list may change when you work in a folder nested inside a project.
