What

The memory tool keeps track of which version of each memory file Claude last saw. It used to learn versions only from read and write results. It now also learns them from memory search results, for files that the search shows in full the way memory_read does.

Why

Writes that use if_version, which only succeed if the file has not changed since it was last seen, can now go ahead straight after a search instead of needing a separate read first.
