Unclear What the new onFailure setting does and which values it accepts is not stated.

What

Hooks are actions you configure Claude Code to run at certain points, such as before or after it uses a tool. An HTTP hook sends a web request to an address you choose. The settings for an HTTP hook now accept an onFailure field.

Separately, when Claude Code saves a file and works out its extension from the file's type, it now recognises more types. Before, all of the following were saved with the generic extension .bin:

  • ico (icons)
  • css (stylesheets)
  • js (scripts)
  • xml
  • webmanifest
  • woff and woff2 (fonts)
  • ttf and otf (fonts)
  • wasm (WebAssembly programs)
Why

Files such as icons, stylesheets, scripts and fonts are now saved with names that say what they are, so other programs can open them correctly.
