What
When you start a cloud session (Claude Code running on a remote machine), some settings from your machine may not be sent along, and Claude Code warns you. That warning used to be a single fixed sentence. It is now put together from separate pieces, including a reason and a way out.
Claude Code also now records separately when a CLAUDE.md file that is a symbolic link (a pointer to a file stored somewhere else) was not sent.
Why
The wording of this warning is likely to differ from before. Symlinked CLAUDE.md files that do not reach a cloud session are now noted on their own.
