What
Claude Code can offer to set up its Chrome browser integration. It now checks which device your most recent message came from. If it came from an iOS or Android client, the offer is not made, and the request returns an error that gives "phone" as the reason.
Before, the offer did not look at the device at all. It is now controlled by a different server-side switch than before.
Why
If you control a session from your phone, you will not be offered a Chrome setup that only works on a desktop computer.
