Cursor lands in the right place after deleting text in the prompt

After a delete in the prompt input, the cursor is now placed using the line and column left after deletion, not the old position

When you delete text in the prompt input box, Claude Code now works out where the cursor goes from the line and column that remain after the deletion. Before, it kept the old position, cut down to fit the shorter text. A delete over an empty range is skipped, except a backward delete when there is text.

Why

This keeps the cursor where you would expect after deleting lines in the prompt.
