Unclear Whether this setting applies to the Claude Code command-line tool or only to the desktop app.

What

The description of the gateway setting that signs you in through an outside identity provider has changed. An identity provider is the service that confirms who you are, such as a company login system. The description now mentions redirectHost: "localhost". This controls the address your browser returns to on your own machine after you sign in. That address used to be fixed at 127.0.0.1.

The description also says that a desktop app set to the external identity provider kind reads this block as that kind's identity provider settings. The setting's base address field is now marked as running on the desktop app, and it shares a remote policy with related settings.

Why

This belongs to the configuration used for Cowork with third-party providers, so it mostly matters to people setting up sign-in for the desktop app.
