Several configuration changes for Cowork and plugin marketplaces:

  • coworkVmIpv6Enabled is a new desktop setting that gives the Cowork VM (a separate computer simulated on your machine) an IPv6 address on macOS and Windows. It is off by default.
  • The marketplace credential helper may now print a JSON object of HTTP headers for url sources, instead of only a plain credential.
  • Changes that only move the pin (the fixed version an entry points at) of existing marketplace entries now reach running apps without a restart.
  • The Cowork settings documentation for synced skills now says syncing runs about every 10 minutes while a session is in use.
Why

These give administrators more ways to configure Cowork networking and marketplace access.
