What
A skill is a packaged set of instructions Claude Code can load for a particular kind of task. The skill review card is the prompt that offers to update one. It already refused to update skills that are built into Claude Code or come from a plugin, because those are not the user's own skills.
That refusal now includes an extra check alongside the existing one about where the skill came from. The refusal message also now names the skill by its short name, without any prefix in front of it.
Why
This is a small change. In practice, the refusal message is easier to read because it uses the plain skill name.
