What
A subagent is a helper agent Claude Code starts to work on part of a task, and some kinds of subagent are provided by plugins. When a subagent is resumed, Claude Code now loads its definition from its plugin first. Before, it used the definition it already had.
If the plugin returns nothing, the resume stops with this error, naming the agent type:
Agent type '...' could not be loaded from its plugin, so the agent was not resumed.
If loading fails with an error, that failure is reported too.
Why
Resuming an agent whose plugin cannot provide it now fails with a specific, readable reason.
