What
When Claude reads its waiting notifications (for example through ReadNotifications), the result now includes two optional timestamps in RFC3339 format, a standard date-and-time format:
arrived_aton each notification: when it arrived. Before, a notification carried onlynotification_id,origin,queued_atand its content.read_aton the whole response: when this call read the queue, by this machine's clock.
Notifications queued in remote sessions now record an arrivedAt time. This applies only when CLAUDE_CODE_REMOTE is set, a further check passes and a server-side setting allows it; that setting defaults to on.
Why
Claude can now tell how old a notification is and how long it waited, separately from when it was queued.
