Claude Code keeps a list of interface event types it can send to programs that display its interface. A prompt autocomplete type, ui_prompt_autocomplete, is now on that list, and like the other interface types it is off by default.
Why
Prompt autocomplete events can be sent to interface programs once this type is turned on.
