What

Subagents are helpers Claude Code starts for parts of a task, and each keeps a transcript of its work. When loading those transcripts, Claude Code used to pass an explicit limit on how many could load at the same time. That limit is no longer passed.

Why

In sessions with many subagents, this can change how quickly transcripts load and how much of the computer's resources the load uses at once.
