Environment variables are named values passed to a program when it starts. Claude Code keeps a list of such names, which already includes CLAUDE_CODE_RELAUNCH_HOME_TRUST and CLAUDE_CODE_PROJECT_DIR_NAME. Seven names are added:
CLAUDE_PTY_HOST_EXECCLAUDE_BG_PTY_AUTHCLAUDE_BG_RV_AUTHCLAUDE_BG_CLAIM_AUTHCLAUDE_BG_RENDEZVOUS_SOCKCLAUDE_BG_BACKENDCLAUDE_BG_TCC_DISCLAIMED
A separate new name, CLAUDE_CODE_STREAMED_BUMBLEBEE_TEXT, also appears in another list of environment variables.
The names suggest work on background sessions that sign in to each other through a shared connection point. Nothing here shows that they do anything for you yet.
