Claude Code keeps a list of such names, which already includes `CLAUDE_CODE_RELAUNCH_HOME_TRUST` and `CLAUDE_CODE_PROJECT_DIR_NAME`. Seven names are added:\n\n- `CLAUDE_PTY_HOST_EXEC`\n\n- `CLAUDE_BG_PTY_AUTH`\n\n- `CLAUDE_BG_RV_AUTH`\n\n- `CLAUDE_BG_CLAIM_AUTH`\n\n- `CLAUDE_BG_RENDEZVOUS_SOCK`\n\n- `CLAUDE_BG_BACKEND`\n\n- `CLAUDE_BG_TCC_DISCLAIMED`\n\nA separate new name, `CLAUDE_CODE_STREAMED_BUMBLEBEE_TEXT`, also appears in another list of environment variables.\n\n**Why**\n\nThe names suggest work on background sessions that sign in to each other through a shared connection point. Nothing here shows that they do anything for you yet.\n\n- Area: Background Tasks\n- Tier: Under the hood\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 3\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
