When you pick which Chrome browser Claude should work with, Claude Code now handles the choice more carefully. It accepts a browser that does not appear in the list, and records whether the switch worked or failed. If the chosen browser cannot be reached, it shows: "That browser isn't connected right now. Make sure Chrome is open with the Claude extension on that computer, then try again."
Why
If switching browsers fails, you now get a message saying what to check instead of an unclear failure.
