Two behaviours now depend on switches decided by Anthropic's servers. Both are off unless switched on remotely:
tengu_lucky_whispersetspreserveToolUseResultInSubagentsfor the SendUserFile tool. A subagent is a helper copy of Claude given part of a task, and this setting keeps the tool's results inside subagents instead of removing them.tengu_eager_pillowchanges how Claude Code finds tool requests that never got a result.
In a reading taken before this release, the servers returned tengu_eager_pillow as on for this site's account.
Both start off. Their effect depends on whether Anthropic switches them on for an account.
tengu_lucky_whisper Not enough to sayNothing here resolved what this flag was doing on this version, so nothing here should be read as on or off.
This account: no value returned · anonymous baseline: no value returned · compiled default in v2.1.288: off
These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.
tengu_eager_pillow Off by default, switched on for this accountThe shipped code defaults this off, and the flag server returned on for the one account this site reads on this version. That is the reading that makes the entry above worth a second look, and it still says nothing about your account.

Read once, for one account on one subscription tier, against v2.1.288. It isn't a statement about your account. What a flag value here can and cannot tell you
What either switch changes for a user in practice is not shown.
