What
Claude Code checks whether any background tasks (work that keeps running while you do something else) are still active. That check now ignores:
- paused tasks
- teammates (other agents working alongside the main one) that have no ID they can be resumed from
- remote planning agents (ultraplan) that are waiting for your input
Why
This affects when Claude Code treats a session as still busy. Tasks that are waiting rather than working no longer count.
