What
Scheduled tasks are jobs Claude Code runs at set times. When they are switched from off to on during a session, Claude Code now notifies the parts of the program that are listening for that change. A bug in the same area, where the code that replaced several of these values stored them in the wrong place, is also fixed.
Why
Scheduled tasks can now start as soon as they are enabled partway through a session, without needing a restart.
