What
awk is a command-line tool for processing text. When Claude Code refuses to approve an awk command automatically, its explanation is now shorter. It reads: awk is given text that can't be checked before it runs. It used to say the text is worked out when the command runs, so what it will run cannot be checked in advance.
Separately, the plugin directory catalog no longer has its own handling for two cases: data residency and essential-traffic-only.
Why
The awk message is shown to you, so it now reads more briefly. The reason it gives is the same.

The writer flagged doubt
It is not clear what changes for plugins now that the data-residency and essential-traffic-only cases are gone.
